If you can find the old Sinclair Precision reloading manual on Ebay it is very good and normally under $15
"Handloading for Competition" by Glenn Zediker, www.sinclairintl.com is a great book also. It takes you through all the tools, case prep, bullet sorting, tuning, testing, dies (types, adjusting, mods etc) and reloading techniques. Now it is primarly for the NRA Highpower but shooter, but everything normally applies. I think this is one of the best books for the new LR shooter to learn advanced reloading and other techniques. It really covers the range of issues that most people ask about.
There is a new book out by Mike Ratigan, "Extreme Rifle Accuracy". This book is primarily for the short range BR shooter and Mike is a many times champ. It holds a lot of great tips on reloading, tuning, bench techniques and shooting in the wind. Hmm does any of that sound familiar to you. Most people screw up good loads on testing with poor techniques of the bench. He has chapters on loading, prep, bench/bag setup and tuning. Most really are applicable to the LR shooter to some degree as a minimum and possibly very key.
