At a distance of 200 yards Joe dropped this incredible Gemsbok using a 28 Nosler and the 143 Hammer Hunter at 3500 FPS. Believing he one lunged it, he took a broadside heart shot upon recovery. Joe has shot over 60 animals with this rifle and bullet. Congratulations Joe.

Gemsbok are fantastic animals. Looks like the shot on the animal was high. That is the mistake that we Americans make on these animals. They have a big no man's land. We naturally aim too high for the construction of the African animals, particularly the gemsbok. Great testament to how well the 143g Hammer Hunter Bullet performed. Taking down a very tough animal with a high hit.

What a great trophy!
