I get a discount on these 3 through work.Just under 50%.I have read some online stuff on them and heard you can hook up to a cell phone.I do not have a cell phone so that feature does not entice me.Now if I am with someone who has a 650 will I beable to show my location if I have the 64st ? I am kinda primitive with GPS's right now so any help is appreciated.

Which 650t are you referring to?

I have the http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f106/garmin-oregon-650t-171694/, I'm still learning all bells and whistles but it's simply amazing.

I upgraded from the 60Csx a few months ago to the Oregon 650T and have worked it hard since and with no complaints. And added OxMaps of course.

I have the Garmin Montana 650t and have been very happy with it over the past 3-4 years. These gps units do not communicate 'real time' with each other. You will not be able to see the current location of your buddy's gps unit on your gps screen. They are good but not that good. :)
You can share stored waypoints and tracks wirelessly between the units. I am not sure which models have that capability, but I am almost certain the Montana 650 and 650t will do this.
Hope this helps

If I understand correctly they do not; the Rino models does with the same model ...
