Anyone have any updates about the steel base and brass upper case? Is anyone having those rings still happening to the barrel? What type of wildcat builds have you done? Just curious about still.
Thanks

Still running them in my target .260AI. Pretty mild load, but very accurate. No ring, but again, pretty mild load of 144s @ 2877fps.

I'm using them in a 243 and 308, and so far, no rings I can detect. However, I have fired less than 100 in each and have no plans to use them in high volume shooting. These are strictly lower volume hunting loads, but I am running them with high pressure loads for some impressive speeds with 95's, 105's and 178 grain bullets. I do have plans for this summer to develop a Fury load in my 260-AI.

If you do a search, there are a couple of good threads on here about using the Fury cases.

I know for a while folks seemed negative about this but I have not heard much since. Wondering if the case is separating at the base at the cartridge.

I've seen no indication of this, and I and others have used a single case for several loads to test this out.

Good to hear. Curious what folks will think of to try in this case with more pressure

Anyone working with a 25 cal or a 6 cal version?

The 243 version is listed above in this thread, for I am loading the 243 Fury with 95 and 105gr bullets. In my 26" 243, the 105's have gone above 3.400fps, but my best groups were at 3,373fps.

Again, a quick search in the other Fury case threads will reveal others who are using these cases in the 25-08 or 25 Souper.

Here you can see the 243 Fury with 95 and 105 bracketed between other 6mm varieties I load.

Here is a 4 shot group at 3,373fps using the 105's. The first shot of the 5 shot group was through a clean bore and is slightly outside of the other 4.

Wow….I really need to "proof read" a bit closer!

I read "Furry"……and couldn't wait to see where this was going to go! 🤦‍♂️ memtb

Started drinking early I see. Well, it is 5 o'clock somewhere. Yep, even here.

So what kind of velocity are you getting over what a regular 243 are you thinking your getting with the 105s?
