277 Fury

After all the hype when this cartridge was adopted, is anyone out there using it? I think it might be a cartridge for my grans daughter's rifle build .

I just finished building one. [ 27-08 ]

I use it. Factory ammo, brass, dies all available.
More case capacity than a 270-08. Shoulder is way further forward and 30 degrees.
In the all brass case it's just a bit slower than 270 win with less powder for less recoil.
In the steel case it's a 270wsm with a lot less powder and a lot less recoil.

I'd like to wildcat a 25-277 to be honest. That sounds like a peach.

I'm doing 338-277 fury now. Waiting on the barrel.
You'll be doing custom reamers though.
