Fixed vs AR buttstock for chassis?

Hey guys, i want to see what your preferences are for buttstock options on your chassis. I have a MDT LSS XL gen2 and ive been swapping back and forth between the fixed buttstock and a buffer tube with magpul dt. They are both nice, comfortable and adjustable. Just not sure which one i want to live on the rifle.

What do you guys like/prefer?

The downside with the magpul is the slight wobble that i have reduced with velcro buttons on the slide, but its still there. The downside to the fixed, is it weighs more by almost a half pound.

Magpul has certain buttstocks that have a tension screw in them to get rid of the wobble, might be worth a look.

I just did an LSS gen2 with a Magpul MOE PR, it's on a Savage switch barrel that's currently set up as a 6.8 spc. I have a handful of 18" barrels I switch through for that one. I prefer the small carbine stock just because it fits my daughter better, and the removable cheek pieces aren't that pricey to get her head up in line with the scope.

It boils down to preference and intended purpose. I have MDT Oryx (yes it's a tad heavier) on my .257 WBY, Gen 1 XLR Element on my .30 LARA, and CA MPR on my .338 Thor. I adapted well with all of them and had no issues.

Ya, i personally think i lean toward the fixed. But having the magpul on there allows the easy change up for when my wife and kids shoot. The fixed i think is a more solid and stable buttstock but the easy adjustments and packability when shortened up is hard to give up.

Nothing like having 2 great options to pick from for the most indecisive person haha.
