Just picked up my first custom rifle this weekend and I can hardly put it down. So far very pleased with the way it turned out. A smith in Oregon put it together for me. Here's what she's got.

6.5 X 284
Blueprinted/squared 700 ADL Long Action
HS Precision PSS 134 Stock fully bedded
8 twist #4 Benchmark BB SS Barrel 29.5 finish length with brake
Vais Brake
Jewell Trigger
Seekins 20 MOA Rail and rings
Nightforce NXS 5.5X22X56

Not much of a packer, right at 11 pounds. In all the test groups it seems to be a shooter thus far.

Would like to shoot 130 or 140 VLD's, but thus far all groups are from 123 gr AMAX and Superformance. Any advice or best loads for the Bergers would be appreciated. Would like to start with Lapua brass, BR-2 primers, Retumbo and then move to other known producing powders...4831sc etc.
