I had similar results with the bull elk I shot last fall. Factory 160 accubonds at 280 yards. I really like the round

That extra velocity vs the 195 is nice !
You really have to be way out there before the heavy bullets catch up.

Thanks, that 175 EH has a pretty good BC anyway.
I have a three does a day tag also.
That morning got that 8 point and three does. The bullet was never found on the buck, must have been in

microscopic shrapnel or imbeded in the slush of lung heart soup and was thrown out while field dressing.
All does had 2" exit holes, two were DRT the third stumbled in a circle for five second.
Of all kills I had no meaningful meat loss.
