And is why we have ONX, GOHUNT, GPS units, etc. nowadays. If you log your tracks, you can show the land owner or LE your route through the corner. For public access.
Assuming their data is in lockstep with the property corner markers. Be interesting to see how accuracy comes in for future nonsense. I would hope the US Government GPS Performance Standard is the accepted accuracy standard for any legal defense since it is the basis for most surveyors etc.
From GPS.GOV:
"The accuracy commitments do not apply to GPS devices, but rather to the signals transmitted in space. For example, the government commits to broadcasting the GPS signal in space with a daily global average user range error (URE) of ≤2.0 m (6.6 ft.), with 95% probability, across all healthy satellites in constellation slots. Actual performance is typically much better. On April 20, 2021, the global average URE across all satellites was ≤0.643 m (2.1 ft.), 95% of the time.

To be clear, URE is not user accuracy. User accuracy depends on a combination of satellite geometry, URE, and local factors such as signal blockage, atmospheric conditions, and receiver design features/quality."

No argument. I know the GPS's and landowner apps are not perfect. However, it gives you a leg up on the land owner making a stink as opposed to having nothing and then it's your word against their's.
Most of the time…and I mean a high percentage…of land owners have their property fenced (here in the west anyways). For them to change or hide their corner would require them to change the fence as well. They may need to get other landowners involved. Or…they may be moving their property/fence line onto Fed property. This is a lot of work most likely won't want to mess with. Getting LE and then possibly the courts involved, may expose their wrongdoings as well. I'm not saying it's not possible, but unlikely in most cases.
