feeding the short magnums

I am looking a fitting a new barrel onto a 98 action chambered in 6.5 SAUM. Now, instead of a nice long tapered cartridge in 8mm, I am feeding a cartridge that is shorter, fatter, with a sharply tapered shoulder holding a smaller diameter, longer bullet.
What mods can/should be made to insure feeding? ramp, rails, magazine? it would seem that rocking might be an issue.

I gave everything a good polishing and i flattened the top of the ramp out a bit as well
