I am sure any one who reads this will loose IQ points. "this are a dumb question."

I have been playing with the Sierra CD and wanted to double chech range and drop charts.

Here comes the LuLu.


In a theoretical world, is the projected drop equal to the required elevation increase?

X-yards equals -6.3 MOA or X-yards equals -41 inches the same as,

X-yards equals + 6.3 MOA or x-yards equals + 41 inches? Um, how bout this, if my drop is - 5 moa do I just come up 20 clicks?

Assuming that you have a 1/4 MOA dial then yes you would come up 20 clicks. Always use the formula:

(MOA drop / MOA click value)

5 / .25 = 20 clicks.

If you have a Mil dial then:

5 / .344 = 15 clicks

If you have a 1/8 MOA scope then:

5 / .125 = 40 clicks.
