Dummy round

This may belong in the reloading section, but I figured I would get more responses quicker.

I need to send a dummy round to Kiff for my new edge reamer. I don't have any dies yet. Can I seat a bullet in my dummy Edge case with my 338 Lapua Seating die? The die is a stock RCBS seater.

Shouldn't be a problem, back the die off so you don't crush the shoulder.

It will work, i seated a 284 diameter bullet using a 300 RUM die once.
