Drawed Colorado Deer Tag

This will be my third year hunting Co. and first time i will be able to hunt deer. Found out i drawed for 3 rd. season. Last year elk hunting i walked along a field edge at day light watching and walking by a 28" muly standing broadside 100 yards. The year before same thing on last day not quite as big. This year the edge is going to roar.

041 around the grand masa, last 2 years elk hunted in 51 east of grand masa. This year outfitter got new lease in this area drawed with only 1 point.

Congrats, I drew my GMU 133 plains deer tag for second rifle season, my first mule deer hunt, what is cool is there are white tail in the river in 133 so I have options if I see a big one.
Going to be a great 2 weeks, Hunting 1st season Elk in 85, 851, 140 and then deer the next week:D

I sure am, always wanted to hunt mule deer, cant wait, more excited about a mule deer than I am a elk:)
