Can't claim to have a lot of experience with them, but I have shot the Falkor Petra several times in 300 win mag. The Petra has a Dracos barrel mounted. I shot the rifle in Texas over the course of an 8 hour day beginning around lunchtime til about 7:30 pm. Meaning that I shot it over the hottest part of the day and as it cooled off outside. Cooled meaning the temps dropped back to 99degrees by 7 pm. The gun performed without any glitches. The barrel didn't show any unusual signs of heat at any time during the day. The rifle shot consistently the entire time. I was shooting 215 gr Bergers loaded with Retumbo. It was remarkably consistent. The barrel showed good accuracy and never showed any heat problems.
