Nice hog! I shot a few with 22 Creedmoor and 69 gr Sierra game changers. It worked but I prefer the 6mm and 6.5mm rounds. Some of my shots are 450 yards with a stiff crosswind.

That's a dandy, congratulations. Hammers flat out work on the hogs , I've killed several with the 52 HH out of a 223

I'm thinking the Nosler .223 factory ammo with the 64-grain bonded bullet should work well within limits. I have some, but no hogs in NW WY.

Through the decades, I have used several bullets in .224 that have worked on hogs. Even in a 222Rem with a Sierra 63SMP.

I've been using vmax for years in my 5.56 and they kill the pigs just as dead as any other bullets glad to know that mine just weren't abnormal
