Why does the two different berger bullets call for different twist rates ? 168gr. VLD Hunting calls for 1-10 twist and 168gr. VLD Target calls for 1-9 or faster twist. But both BC are the same.

I'm just guessing but my guess is, the 9" twist package is older than the other one and Berger has changed their opinion about the proper twist.

Contact Ryan Neal at Berger and send him the question and the picture. He should be able to help.

They're very courteous and helpful. I've talked with them on several occasions.

My theory is leaning with what Edd thinks. One might be older than the other, and they have since changed it to be more accurate.
