With dies, it's always a state of "establish known good" for sizing, bump, and seating. Before use: Check lock ring state disassemble, wipe down with clean, dry rag. On body die, verify vent hole is clear No application of lube of any sort to die body. Very light application of wax or coconut oil to expander. After use: Spray the internals with CMC Penetrating Oil and wipe out excess. Wipe down externals with same penetrating oil or spray with Ballistol (whichever is close at hand). Put away in die case.
