And this just crossed your mind today ? It was a suggestion. And who to know best what Savage built in the past ? I have read where people have done this. But to give you a definitive answer on what Savage built is ludicrous. I own many. But I have no idea or would want to guess what they have done in the past. How did you make out on Savage Shooters ? They are Savage knowledgeable. If you want a guess ? I would guess NO. But hey I been wrong before. lol

Looks like I was wrong on the long action in the 90s. I told you it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong. lol It appears they didn't produce a true short action till 1998. If this helps. You may be able to verify the left hand later. Or on the chart provided. Looks like a L in the model number determines if it was a lefty. Why you can tell folks not to haggle with someone's asking price, but on the same token someone can come here on my post or anyone's and bugger it all with B.S. than I'm not here for this type of harassment. I've been a good standing member since I joined, with no issues, have talked to a lot of people here, have done a lot of buying, always honest.
