It appears the Defiance has stopped producing the Classic Action. Just looking to see if that is indeed correct.

They basically updated the classic a little bit and renamed it to the Misfit. It's not exactly the same, but serves almost the same purpose, except it's $91 more. Given inflation it's not a horrible price increase, but I'm sure most people get a little sad when they see something they like go up in price. I certainly do

No more Classic and the Misfit is just the Tenacity with a new name it looks like.
No more Classic. Replaced with MISFIT as their introductory model.
Classis had Anti X bolt handle, only 90d bolt throw, only SA or LA (unless you got in on my XM+ order with Pucker Factor), one piece pinned rail, and separate recoil lug. MISFIT has only one style bolt handle, and integral recoil lug, 75/90d bolt throw, 1 or 2 piece rail, nitride is now only 50$ since they started using Parker Trutec and LiFE nitriding. (Same as SAC, but SAC uses QPQ nitriding)

They could have just kept it as the Rebel and a lot of us would be happy.
I switched to the Renegade and bought a few last November. Glad I did based on the price increases this year. They've gone up $300
The Classic and the Kelbly Atlas Lite were the two best low 20 ounce offerings on the market, my opinion. The Classic was a little cheaper and the last year I've used about 50/50. This year, I'll use 90% Kelbly…I personally prefer the mechanical ejector so I'm not disappointed but it was nice having another option.
