So a possum wandered into my yard over night, the 2 huskys and 2 malamutes got to him before I did unfortunately, poor thing never stood a chance against 400# of dogs haha...I dont usually kill them because they are like natures garbage disposal and dont really cause any issues. **** dogs anyway, nothing is safe on our acre out in the country. They've killed all sorts of critters...

They cause issues if you have an organic vegetable garden. Last year they ate every single tomato just before they were ripe enough to pick myself.
This year I started to trap them early. Caught a few coons and several opossums. The local cat would walk all around the traps but was smart enough to avoid the temptation of an easy meal.
