Custom rifle opinions

So here's my dilemma...I have a M70 300wsm that I'm going to rebarrel and turn into a custom rifle. I'm leaning towards leaving it a 300wsm but am considering changing it to a 270wsm. I'm also wanting to get a full custom done in the next year or so. In the end, I want both guns to be light enough for packing into the backcountry, and between the 2 guns I want to be able to hunt anything in North America. If I stay with the 300wsm, I'm considering a 280AI or 264 Win Mag for the full custom. If I rebarrel to a 270wsm, I'm considering a 300 Win Mag for the full custom. I don't have a 7mm Mag either but feel like a 300wsm and 7mm mag or 270wsm and 7mm mag are too close in performance. I'm open to other ideas as well. I hope that wasn't too confusing. What do you guys think?
