Custom Barrel Sources?

Do any of you have a favorite dealer or source that stocks barrels? I'm interested in a chrome molly, 6.5, 1:8 twist. It's for a Mauser project and I'm looking for a medium to heavy sporter contour; but would also consider a full-length blank.

I've e-mailed or phoned 10 or so outfits and waiting times run anywhere from 10 weeks to six months.

I'd be most interested in a barrel by one of these makers.

Go to bugholes.com. He stocks Obermeyer, Brux, Rock, and Krieger. I got my Obermeyer blank in 2 days. That took a year or so off the wait.

I believe that Grizzly industrial might have a bartlein that fits your bill. It might be stainless but you can always cera-kote to make it look period.
