Hi all, i,m new on here but i have lurked for a while. I have hunted coyotes for a short time but have not killed one as yet , i use either a Rem 700 classic in 243 or a 12ga/ 223 in a Baikal overunder. I find most post very educational and helpful, i look forward to talking to many hunters in the future.

Welcome aboard, Lutesgr! Sounds like you have some good tools to get started with. Good luck on getting the first one. They say its the hardest but its also the most memorable.

I would have to agree you first coyote is your most memorable.

Remember it is the little things like scouting that make all the difference.

And if you can go with someone who has some experiance watch what they do.
