Colorado Coyote

Lots of coyotes in Colorado. I've got several places to hunt them. Nice dog, though.

Went to Colorado on a hunting trip and bagged this coyote and a deer. The shot was at 257 yards.

Congrats! Really nice dog, it's always good to remove a Bambi killer while hunting deer or elk.

Took out these two black yotes on December 9th. I would have loved to tan the pelt but they stunk worse than most skunks!

I agree. Colorado is a great place to hunt. The area where I hunted is beautiful and the people are so friendly and helpful.

I've heard one doesnt "hunt" elk on Wyoming...you just go "get" one- lol

I was using a Browning X-Bolt Western Hunter in 6.5 PRC with a NF SHV 4-14x56, bullet was Hornady Precision Hunter 143 grain ELD-X. I was in GMU 11/211 during the 2nd Rifle season.

Nice one was that a straight on shot?

Yes. Shot him in the right shoulder and it came out near his left hip. 6.5CM 143g eldx at 383 yards.
