Contour for 338 Edge Krieger #5 or #11

I am putting a 338 edge together and dont want to wait for a barrel for 3 months. Bruno's has Krieger barrels ready to ship. I want a 30" barrel and Bruno's only has #5(.700 @ muzzle) and a #11(.900 @ muzzle). Which do you think would be best for the caliber?

Definently the 11, IMO that's not heavy enough, mine is 32" and finishes at 1.020" before the brake, was 1" at the muzzle and I think it could stand to be heavier, but it is still very accurate.

Yep, go with the 11. I don't think you would be using a 338 edge for a light carry rifle so the heavier barrel is going to be better for you.

A #11 Krieger contour is a straight un-tapered blank. A 30 inch #11 contour will weigh 12 pounds. There must be a typo somewhere. You might want to double check what you are buying.

I guess it depends on who is going to carry it, you or a mule.
If you are going to ride in and set up on a vantage point and wait, then the #11 would be fine, but if I was going to carry it, I would go for the #5!
