Contender Frame Identification

Quick and easy Contender frame ID. I am sure most already know this but hope it helps the new Contender owners.

If the pin circled in TOP picture below is present then it is a NON easy open frame.

If the pin circled in MIDDLE picture below is present then it is an easy open frame.

If the Raised Piece circled in BOTTOM picture below is present then it is a G-2 frame.

Had my first frame converted to the easy open version by T/C many years ago, have an easy open version Contender frame and 2 G2 frames.

Not sure if BullBerry does conversions or not but, Troy (Owner) of BullBerry is one of the nicest guys you will ever have the pleasure of doing business with. He is threading one of my barrels for a muzzle brake. Can't wait to get it back.

I highly doubt you find anyone to do that conversion at this time. SSK is building the new ssk50 contender frames. I wonder if they would at some point down the road.
