Contemplating a 7-300 PRC build. Talk me out of it.

So I have been pondering my ideal 7mm caliber. Looking to shoot the most accurate long range 7mm bullets in 180-195 grains. I am a believer in longer neck, longer throat to accommodate the longer high BC bullets. I don't want a belted case and I prefer Lapua brass. Hence I am thinking be king down the Lapua 300 PRC brass down to 7mm.
1- does anyone have dimensions for a custom reamer and does that have proven accurate or better yet access to a reamer I can rent and dies I can buy?
2- I would really like to shoot my optimized loads out of a box magazine even if I need to choose a custom action and mag to accomplish this. I would like to build it right up front even if it costs a bit more.

I would love to hear thought maybe both from those who already shoot a 7-30 PRC and those who think they have a superior recommendation with the above goals in mind. And yes, I know it's similar to the 7 LRM but no Lapua brass and actually the LRM has shorter neck and throat.

I guess the most obvious competitor is the 28 nosler. Brass selection and availability is the tough one there. Hopefully time heals thst wound because I have heard good things about ADG brass, mixed reviews on Bertram, and mostly unfavorable on Nosler. Is fireforming 28 nosler out of Lapua 300 PRC out of the question?

My first thought is 28 Nosler with ADG brass. Build on a long action so you have all the room you could want for the 195s. Seems like a simple solution to me.
We have brass and loaded ammo on hand. We offer break in loads as well, so you can fire form on your own and have good brass to do your own load development. Just an option.
Whatever you decide, keep us posted. Sounds like an interesting project.

I'd do it in a heart beat, I wish hornady would have gone more that direction with the 7 prc.
Honestly though it's so easy to use 300 prc bushing dies to neck awesome lapua brass down to 7mm that I could care less how lame the 7 prc turned out.
I think a 20" suppressed 7-300 prc would be pure magic with H1000 and 180 vlds or eldms, and barrel life should easily be around 1000-1200 rounds

I got 5 firings (never shot them more than that, but they were fine) out my ADG with hot 195 load in my 28 Nosler. It's good stuff.

Regarding the 7 PRC, I'm thinking if I want mid level the 7 SAUM sings to me as a short action targeting the 175 ELD-X or similar Berger bullet. I do think it's hard to go wrong with any of these. I was pleased with my 7 Remington mag and regret selling it, but if I'm going to build one 7mm from the ground up I want it to be just exactly what I want. Just still having fun trying to define what that is.

Lapua brass and less capacity than the 28 Nos which is 101.5 grains vs 94-95 with the 7-300, it's stupid simple to neck it down from 30 cal so why not
