Can't wait to wear IU NC hat to stroll around ND fans... Or wait, was it troll around ND fans...🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Yeah, I know, the 2nd losingest (word salad) D1 football program but gotta respect what they have done last 2 years. But what have you done lately? Hopefully Cigs stays which I believe he will not to mention he got new contract past year. Prob another new one in works!

Good for IU.👏

And I'm glad that Miami did what they had done.
That might Shut the Big mouth
SEC and Big 10 people mouths.👄 🤣

With this pay for players college football, there will be teams from Any conference go to the top, just need some money.

Mark Cuban as Alumni doesn't hurt one bit.🤔

There are a few recent examples of how NIL and the transfer portal has dramatically changed college football. IU is the best example, but Vanderbilt is another good example to look at. I personally think things have gone too far, but it is definitely interesting to see the impacts to the sport. Maturity and experience has become the secret sauce in recruiting along with deep pockets.

Yeah, go ahead and rock that IU NC hat assuming it's the "Flyin' IU" or classic cream crimson vibe around those ND fans troll lightly, it's all in good fun after what Cignetti's done.

Indiana's turnaround is unreal from historically the losingest D1 program 715 losses all time before 2025 to Big Ten champs and a perfect 13-0 or even 16-0 season in 2025 under Cigs, who just locked in that massive 8year, $11.6M extension through 2033. He's staying put, no NFL vibes, and probably eyeing another bump after the CFP run.

ND's been solid too 10-2 or 14-2 lately, deep playoff pushes, but yeah... what have you done lately compared to IU's rocket ship? Respect the Irish tradition, but the Hoosiers are the story right now. Wear it proud and maybe duck if you're in South Bend

We are going to see Big Money in some Small schools.
I can name a few but I won't.

O by the way Cig. Is from Morgantown Wv.
He will be there for at least 3 more years.🤣😃👍🏼

It was a good game. Enjoyed watching it. But do think that college sports are heading in the wrong direction. Guess I'm showing my age, seems like I question the direction a lot of things are going.
I Agree!.
Compared to a couple games leading to this one.
And glad it wasn't a SEC&Big10 game. But it always comes full circle. 20 years ago the Big 12 was dominating then the SEC. Etc…..
And Yes College Football will continue to change. And my opinion not for the good.
MONEY is destroying it.
Whoever has the money will have the dominant team.
Till other's catch up.
It's going to be real interesting the next few years.

IU grad here. Played ball for Bobby Knight in his first year there. (1971) I can't even imagine that life today.

Very good. Wonder what Coach Knight would think of NIL. Surely not much.

I can't recall what I game it was, probably the Penn State game that convinced me Mendoza and crew were the real deal. I really enjoyed watching the game. A game for the ages.
