Metro Denver housing is too high and tired of the traffic. In a few years I'll be moving to the western Colorado. Housing prices is a main concern. Some of the areas I'm looking at are Cortez, Delta, Naturita, Montose, Grand Junction or other? Recommendations needed and why.

Delta and junction not bad on housing cost.

Montrose is high. Trust me on that one. Prices still climbing it seems too.

Don't know on Craig or cortez

Pay a visit to Custer County. Its not for everyone. Westcliffe, population <500. Very conservative, small government, low taxes, potential ag status, low property prices (for Colorado). Its not on the western side of the state, but an hour away from I25.
