This is what I can remember from an email I received.
"I am CEO of a small company that employs 140 people. The impact of the Obama tax plan on my company is expected to raise our costs approximately 8%. Because of the current economic climate, I can't realistically pass on this increased operating cost to our customers, so I am going to have to lay off at least 6 employees instead. I have struggled and worried about laying off any employees and then agonized about how to select the ones that had to go. Finally, I decided to walk around our company parking lot, where I found more than 6 cars that had Obama bumper stickers on them. I chose the 6 that have to go from this group. It seems like the perfect solution to me. They wanted change, I gave it to them."
