Anybody using CFE 223 in a 223 WSSM, found some starting data for 36 and 40 grain bullets, but need some for 50 and 55 grainers. Anybody gone on this adventure yet?

I didn't like CFE 223 but YMMV.

Of course book is there for 40s and lighter. For medium weight 224, 50s and up, according to QL max pressure is reached before 90% case capacity, not ideal.

With a light to medium load the case is less than 80% full. As I Understand (AIU) poor for consistency and has potential dangers.

If it were me, find some R-17 or one of the 4350s.

Well, I guess when you find powder available there is a good reason.:) I have been working with Varget and Win 760 with great results, just though I would try something new as a plan C when you can't your old standby favorite. Thanks for the info!
