Hey guys. Y'all kept showing up in my searches so I figgered I'd check the place out. It's been very helpful reading the information available here. Although I'm fairly positive in the end it's gonna cost me.
Brief bio.
Shot competitive benchrest and LOTS of varminting in the early 2k's. Dabbled with some long-ish range stuff, such as it is in NC "out in the wild". But got distracted with the coast and fishing/boats for 15 years or so between. Back in the hills-n-hardwoods now. Hunt a "paper company property" lease with plenty of opportunity from "right there" to 1k.
Anyway, gettin my mess back together to play with the steel and hogs. Lookin forward to chattin with those of similar interests. I've seen a coupla familiar names from CFF here already. Tikka T3x Ace Game in 7 PRC inbound. Currently obsessing on glass.

I get up to the Hickory area a coupla times a year for the Fun Show. Lovely place. But anymore it's just to go and enjoy the "hum" of a decent gun show. Stuff that's of current interest is rarely there.
My "old family" is from SW Va (Fancy Gap, Galax, Tazewell) so I spent a lot of time up there with glass stuck to my forehead before the 'yote took over the 'hog eradication job.
