Case forming 6.5 remington mag ?

350 mag neck die...approx .378 neck diameter
.343 hornady neck die
.301 die....6.5 rem mag full length die drilled out

There is a semi local gun shop that has some 350 mag brass. I think midway has it in stock from time to time unlike the 6.5 mag brass. Gunbroker has 350 brass pretty regularly as well.

Only thing I would do different is add another step about .320". A 7mm wsm or saum die would probably work just fine for the additional step.

I see, you're talking about the OUTSIDE diameter

So .301" would come close to the 6.5 caliber inside diameter

.264"+.015"+.015"=.294"

Exactly. The .301" was going to be for my 270-350 rem mag wildcat.

.277+.014+.014= .305 giving me about .004 neck tension

I left out that after the .301 would be a regular 6.5 rem mag FL die.

The process from 350 to 6.5 is pretty easy, just takes time.
