Can you turn a 22-250 into win 308?

Does any one know if you can turn a 22-250 Rem into a 308 Winchester? I think I want to do that if it is possible,a friend of mine told me you could, another one did not think so.

YES !!

Look at the first post under Gunsmithing and It should explain the in and outs of your barrel
change.

The bolt faces are the same and the only thing that might have to be adjusted are the feed rails
in the receiver.

The barrel size, length , material and rate of twist is your choice.
