Finally got a speed on my rifle. Wish I would've done it sooner.
Finally got a Labradar, loaded up some lighter loads than what I've been shooting and went to the range. This was my top load and averaged 3007 which I feel is about the max. Would love to know what Quickload says for pressure.
I've shot more before this and now I'm cringing thinking about it. Hard to see normal pressure signs with Lapua brass

338 Lapua Imp
104 grains of RL33
CCI250
300 gr Berger .010 off
30" Brux barrel

Two mile rifle if you have accuracy with that load.

Lapua brass makes is harder yes, but the fact it's an Improved makes it even harder to read pressure signs. Min case taper and sharp shoulders mask a lot of pressure...until it's far past "max".

A 300gr in a Lapua Imp doesn't seem that crazy tho so I'd say you're still good to go.

What's your measured case capacity? OAL?

using basic knowledge and what is programed in my quickload over many years and not having your fired case capacity or OAL. you're in the low to mid 70s, 72,000-75,000 psi.

used 114 for capacity and 3.750-3.850 for OAL.

Thank you!
I'll have to remember to check those when I get back home today from work.

Not to sidetrack. Thanks for posting this. Did a quick check on a load I KNOW to be safe, but all manuals and software say is not. According to P-MAX it's safe. WAO! Thanks again
Very welcome not as good as the others as it's limited by powder choice but it's real handy
