Can a Brake be put on a 1903.

I have a 1903 that has been rechamberd to a 300 win mag. It had a tapered barrel but has had a crown installed. I am wondering if a brake could be installed on this barrel? If so, what would it take.

Yes, if yours has a front sight you might lose part if not all ...

(Remington 1903 in .30-06)

I think that the sights were taken of and there is a sleave that covers up the tapered end of the barrel.
