Bushnell lrhs2 4.5-18x44 wind turret?

I just got one of these scopes from GA Precision and I have a question for any other owners out there. The push/pull wind turret doesn't seem to have any retention, it just slides in and out without much effort. I was a little surprised by this, I would think there should be so.e resistance so it doesn't become unlocked on accident, hence the reason for a locking turret. Is this how it is supposed to be? Thanks fellas

All my elite tacticals have some resistance to pull out, but it's hard to put into words how much. You definitely have to mean to do it
