Burris Fullfield IV turrets

I'm wondering if the turrets on the Fullfield IV, particularly the illuminated 2.5-10 and 3-12 models, are mushy or positive. I'm looking for an optic for a .243 beginner rifle for my boys and I want them to learn to dial. Any experiences would be appreciated. Thank you!

The best answer is to go to a local store that has them on display and try the feel for yourself. Everyone's fingers have different levels of sensitivity.

You're definitely not going to get the same positive clicks you will get on higher end scopes but it may be enough to suit your needs and your hands.
