Building a fiberglass rifle stock

Built a few fiberglass rifle stock but still trying to profect the art. Want others ideas and procedures.
 
350 green backs and a call to mcmillan.lol.... you have pictures of the stocks, would be interested to see how they came out , thanks..
 
I've never made a stock,but i've used lotsa glass.It gets a little tricky,it shrinks as it dries,the hotter you mix it the more it shrinks.I would use some good stuff,i'm sure like anything else it isn't equel.You can get some WILD colors now,try Dennis kirt watercraft cataloge.
 
Use epoxy resin; far stronger than polyester/vinylester, and shrink is almost zero.

The big problem is setting up the flanging on the molds- it gets complicated.
