I have decided to build a 7mm PRC using my Mauser 98 large ring 8mm action.
I would like to use the carbon fiber barrel for this 22"or 24" and I will be loading for this cartridge . Any advice on this build would be greatly appreciated

Ya I would take the above advice to secure brass and dies first. Bullets aren't much of a problem just expensive. Assume you already have primers and suitable powder (4831, H1000, VV 560, 565, 568, RL 22, 23, 25, 26 or similar). Just sucks when you wait 4-8 months for a barrel and you can't shoot it when it's ready. What is the magazine setup/coal on your Mauser? Thought they were typically around 3.25"? Would still work with handloads 175 and less optimally but not with the factory 3.34" rounds. I'm sure you've already thought this through just making sure.
