I was going to build a AR chambered in the 224 Valkyrie have a extra lower hanging around
But I also have a savage 110 heavy barrel in 223 playing around with idea of just having the barrel
chambered in 224 any ideas ? I contacted few places on internet that build barrels but none of them do it don't know if it was a FFL issue or not never really got clear answer why couldn't do it

Chambering your 223 barrel to 224 Val wont help cause the twist will be to slow. For the Val you need 6.5 to 7.5 to 1. Your Savage is probably 1 in 14. Tikka is making a TX3 223 with 1 in 8 now. They also make a 22-250 with 8 twist.....interesting to say the least.
