Bugger tried to give me the slip... Thermal

Man... I had to just stay on top of this one, because he gave me the slip earlier at about 60 yards in some deep grass (think he had a den in there). Drove down the road a bit... ran my locator... and he howled from the same spot, so I drove back about half way to where I knew he was... shimmied up a 3 tier big bale haystack... and ran 2 coyotes howling... in less than a minutes he was bounding across the field parallel to me... and then cut towards me. Lined up an ambush shot and at the last second... he cut away...

No one ever said coyote hunting is supposed to be easy! LOL Glad I stuck with it though.

Geo4061.... Heya... I'm using a pulsar apex XD75A and the shot was 165 yards. It came in so fast... I didn't have time to zoom or engage the picture in picture zoom function. Just was thinking about getting on my belly and lined up for the shot! Lol
