Trying two decide on one of these in 300 win mag. I have had good luck with Browning, have heard Christensen Arms is good, but can have issues. The Bergara has a smooth action, and have heard good barrels, but is heavier than the other two. Will be used for an elk hunt in Colorado, and black bear hunt in Manitoba. The 24 inch barrels on the Christe Arms an Bergara I was wondering if the would be more maneuverable?

I have a CA mesa in 300 Win and have been very happy. It functions perfectly and very accurate. Just got a xbolt speed in 6.8W. Only broke in so far but it shot 1 and clean shots into inch groups with factory loads. I like them both and would recommend whichever feels better. If I had to pick one would be the mesa based on my longer experience but they seem pretty close to me quality wise and think the browing will shoot great once start load work. No experience with Bergara but the ones I have held at store have been beefy.
