Brownells stuck case puller

All right guys I've got a stuck case and a 264 win mag I do have a Brownells case puller but I cannot get the collet to get all the way on to lock down on it to pull it out anybody got any suggestions the bolt went halfway clothes and I couldn't get her all the way closed got the bolt back open got it out but case didn't come with it any suggestions would be greatly appreciated also bent the Dewey rod trying to beat it out down the barrel

If it's just the case stuck take a dry wall expanding body in the case tighten the screw in it and it'll come out.
