Case Neck Stuck in Chamber

I was using some Federal factory ammo to break in a Nosler M48 Custom in 300 WSM. This happened on the third round. Is there an easy way to get it out? Seems I remember this happening once at a PRS match and they used a large diameter wire brush to pull it out somehow.

Yep, use a .338 cal brush. Push it straight in just far enough to engage the broken piece then pull it out.(from the receiver side of course)

I had that happen and went in through muzzle with a SS rod and caught an edge and tapped it out.

I have several larger than bore size brushes in my range bag. Unusual for a factory round but stuff happens.

This- and it's also suspect given that it's a new rifle. Could be just coincidence, but perhaps not.
I'd measure the first two cases to confirm there's no issue with the chamber.

I measured all three fired cases and they were identical. Head .5555 and near shoulder .5410. Unfired rounds are .5495 at head and .5335 near shoulder.

I would contact Federal to let them know plus maybe few more boxes to break in!
