Ok, so you want to go after the big fish in the antigun pond. Difficult, but not impossible.
Here is "A Way" that you (and others) can effect ol control freak himself.
Key facts and assumptions
- Bloomberg is not the single point of failure for the anti gun effort. He is a big part but not the only part.
- Bloomberg has infested the democratic party with his antigun rhetoric, his opinions are now their opinions. A loss for them is a loss for him
- This effort will have to be conducted in the information operations arena. Offensive financial operations are not a viable option (unless you are friends with multiple billionairs)
So what tools do you and the average gun owner that does not want to see this country and its constitution go down the drain have available to wage this campaign? Several, propaganda, idealogical subversion, and disinformation. I will go into these later
So what is the key terrain that you wish to deny your adversary of in this struggle? People, mainly the undecided middle, the folks straddling the bench so to speak. Our side will vote R, the hard corps left's opinion can not be changed (even if a video surfaces of Bloomberg barbequeing babies) so don't waist time or assets attempting to do so. So you should be targeting undecided voters and those that "sort of" lean left.
You can use propoganda to have a measurable effect in your efforts by encoraging all of your family members and close associates to get out there and vote "R" across their entire ballot. The Left (and by default the anti gun Bloomberg left) like to use propaganda on our side by pushing the narrative that "your vote does not matter" etc. Deny them this advantage by getting all of your relatives and friends out their to vote (and vote R). Try to get others to join the NRA (after all who else is fighting the anti gun lobby in DC). If they are union members bring up right to work laws and the argument that the union uses (the union defends everybody to include union members why are others getting union benefits without paying union dues etc).
Idealogical subversion and disinformation can pay huge stipends in your struggle. Remember your targeted audience and the effect you are looking for (them not showing up on election day or coming to our side). When you are out and about on your daily toils when you meet somebody that is somewhat in the middle or slightly left you want to turn the leftist talking points into poison in the targeted individuals mind. Arguments like "we need a ban on guns to protect children" are easily defeated by statements like "well if we wish to protect children why are we aborting them and selling their body parts to the highest bidder". Then show them the videos whatever reference that you have to support your argument. Find real world examples that undermine the anti gun arguments that have been put in their heads. You want to make sure that the other side looks like a monster. If you have done this correctly your intended target will stay home on election night. If you did it above average then he or she will be voting on your side. If you are a true master of idealogical subversion and disinformation then he will begin to propagate to others the same information that has been propagated to him with the same intended effect.
