Oppose this, oppose that, call this politician call that politician......blah blah blah.

The problem with speaking out isn't that we don't all want to I don't think. But nobody wants a visit from big brother. Just the other day someone I know proved beyond any doubt that even facebook is turning on the mic on his phone and listening to his private conversations in the house with his wife. He and I were talking about a hit water heater and all of a sudden a facebook add pops up about them. Like many other things he's spoken to others about. If they can do it, big brother is doing it better.
Sooooooooooo why hasn't your friend deleted his Facebook account? Think about that, if he is convinced that "they" are listening why in Gods name would he still be a member? My wife, sons and myself (never really used mine) have all deleted our Facebook accounts and have never looked back. Our lives did not change or suffer one iota from those deletions in fact they have improved.

Fighting the lefts false narrative is a tall order. They firmly believe that a lie told frequently enough becomes truth. Unfortunately, a gullible electorate gets easily sucked into the lie. A generation or two of the teaching institutions focused on indoctrinating our youth, a biased liberal press that has lost any sense of objectivity, and politicians that lie, deceive, and blow with the wind in order to insure their own personal position and greed, has stacked the deck. Given all this, it's likely that the attack on the Constituion and our Bill of Rights will continue to be gradual as opposed to a dramatic change due to the fact that a sufficient number of a conservative minded populace still retains a sufficient balance of presence in the country..........BUT, as the OP states, our children and grandchildren are destined to a world that looks a lot like the sorry societies across both oceans, and to our north and south. Those of you that think you are safe from all this and live in a Utopia, BEWARE, most of the 2nd Amendment attacks are flagrantly and unconstitutionally enforced under States Rights....many time by one person like the Attorney General! Few of these are being driven to the higher courts, and when done so, are directed to ideological judges and ignored. It is likely that within a few years, Colorado will be a mirror image of California, New York, Massachusetts, etc....even Texas!. Watch your big cities!

Some ideas on how to fight this?
-Vote... educate yourself, and influence others. Pay close attention to your liberal State legislators. Become active in organizing to fight them. As mentioned, they operate in the shadows. As opposed to National level politics, State level politics can be flushed out and beaten if an effort is made. While rare occurrence, when you find an honest politician that stands for our rights, support him/her.
- STOP the indoctrination of our youth. Force yourself to let your children and grandchildren understand that they should not take the word or viewpoint from their teachers, professors, and peers. Unfortunately, this has been the case , and has intensified over the past few decades. Shame on them!! Our progeny should trust themselves "before" others. Question evertything with the understanding that they may be being pushed into someone's agenda. Ask them if they would like to be one of the Sheep, the bulk of our population! ALL social media, news reports, Hollywood, and all statements from politicians should be suspect and validated.... Residing in the Northeast, I made the conscious decision many years ago to teach this my with my children and grandchildren. While initially chastised by educators, it has actually worked quite well, producing independent, successful, free thinkers that don't roll over with the masses...my kids/grandkids despise the thought of being classified as being one of the sheep.
-Support the NRA and other gun rights groups. SUPPORT them...they remain one of the most highly funded and influential lobby groups in the country. Overlook the occasional missteps....overall, they are important! Liberal politicians truly fear them!!
-There are estimated to be many firearms in our country as there are people in this country, owned by honest, law abiding citizens, that contribute to our countries success, and making it unique amongst all societies. They are used for hunting, shooting sports, self defense, collecting, or simply because one has the "right" to own them. The criminal element that breaks the law is a fraction of 1%....Liberals, we've got your number! Enforce the laws and go after them! Unlike many of those pitiful societies commonly referenced from across the ponds, Americans will stand up for our 2nd Amendment Rights.

Greyfox, it is important to note that most people want to let their kids find their own way.......Bullschitz, I taught my two boys to be conservative, go to church every Sunday and to be skeptical of anybody and anything that tries to change the constitution of the GREATEST NATION in the history of the world. That was their foundation and my duty as a father to give them the foundation to build their character and lives on. What they would do after they left the house was their choice but before it was my wife and my choice. It payed off, my two sons joined the military, one still in, the the other followed Dad and is now a Paramedic Firefighter. Both religious patriots, outspoken conservatives that serve their country NOT THEMSELVES. Any parent that does not believe in socialism has a duty to train their kids to defend this nation and the constitution AS IT WAS WRITTEN........PERIOD.

He is a Real estate agent and uses facebook for advertising along with the traditional channels. I got rid of mine after only having it a short time. And he's seriously considering it although it may damage his chance for a sale.

My fellow dem supporting firefighters also were putting money before their freedoms.............seeing how many soldiers have, are and will give their LIVES for our freedoms I personally don't hold a loss of money as an excuse to aid and abet socialist eve dropping organizations.......but thats just me. I am sure that he could find other avenues of advertising to compensate for any loss from deleting FAKEBOOK. The majority of Facebook users are socialist Z generation and socialist millineal generation and they are still tryin to pay off their college loans without a job and are still livin in Mommies basement anyway! LMAO....................

And how are we showing and voicing our solidarity from the states that are not immediately in as much jeopordy. Being an NRA member is not enough by any stretch of your imagination. All rebellions start with an idea. Ideas grow into action.......let's hear some REAL ideas that all of us can put into action so we can be heard and seen in our solidarity with those states in jeopordy and in defense of our constitution. Like I said sitting on our azzes and typing hollow phrases into a forum is not enough. We have to find ways for the thousands of us to be heard and respected.

We have to look at this as a multi-domain campaign/conflict.

The media/social media domain - our adversary already owns 90% of the key terrain (Facebook youtube etc) and they own it to the extent that they can shut down our accounts and any videos that we make, especially ones that call to political action. We were winning in places like youtube a few years ago, but they have changed all of that. We could make our own media sites but we will only reach us, whereas we need to reach and inform and influence those that are more in the undecided realm. So we have to keep fighting, upvote every pro gun video out there as often as you can and get your peers to do the same. Leave comments in their videos that say something to the fact that if their channel gets deleted to start another and keep doing it until the youtube moderators get tired of deleting.

The political domain - We have not lost this one yet. It is important to flood your house rep and senator at state and federal levels with letters of opposition to gun control legislation. They are politicians after all, if they see a larger number of individuals opposing ant gun legislation than for it it is going to have an effect. Also, when they vote to preserve our Second Amendment rights write a letter of praise to encourage them to keep doing the right thing. Support the NRA and Gun Owners of America as much as you can. Those two entities are two crucial means that we can shape the political domain. Without them our efforts to control this domain will be very difficult.

Human domain - First we have to stop calling the bolt action/ 30-30 guys "Fudds". I think this helps our enemy by driving a seam in-between our lines that they can exploit. What we need to do is educate those bolt action/30-30/hunting only folks that their guns will be next if semi autos are banned. I saw a video some months back, a bit dated, where they anti gun side was making a case for banning .454 casuls and .44 mag handguns using the same rhetoric as is used today with semi autos. When you go to the range try to talk to one fellow shooter about the importance of voting for the candidate that will defend our Second Amendment rights and swing him or her to our side. If you find an individual that is sort of on the anti 2nd side do everything you can do subvert that anti gun ideology.

Economic domain - Many institutions are siding with the anti gun side. Do everything in your power to ensure that they don't receive your money or anyone elses. Make them pay for their political positions. If enough of us write really bad reviews of their companies on Google Reviews or Yelp it will start to hurt. And the reviews don't even need to be Second Amendment related. Visit one of their stores and it was kind of dirty? Well in the review make it look like you went to the city dump. One of their employees was rude, make them look like Idi Amin in your review. Did the employee make a somewhat disparaging comment about women? Make sure that gets included and sent to the hashtag metoo folks. Now, if the company is pro Second than ensure that they are showered with praise on yelp and other review sites and encourage others to shop there as well.

Thats all I have tonight, what do you guys have?
