best place to backpack hunt in North america?

Ok fellas im wanting to plan a hunting trip (fiance actually wants this for a honeymoon, shes a keeper) but where in yalls opinion is the best place/affordable to do this at. Id like to hunt big game elk, moose or equivalent. Just something other than the white tail and hogs my 21 yr old self is used to.
