I have a 15 year old Gerber folder that cuts bone very quickly. Truthfully, I haven't looked to see if that saw is still being sold. Most times when close to the 4X4, I use a cordless sawsall instead.
You got that right. Mine has over 15 years of use and still like new!!. Whatever you buy...Don't buy the type that the handle goes between your fingers. It's a killer on the fingers when using. Don't ask how I learned!!
I always have my Wyoming saw in both my pack and one in the quad. One of these days I may actually try to saw in my Kershaw blade traders if I ever remember to. Hell I've packed that blade trader all over gods green acres and don't know that I have even used the knife blades as I just grab my Ingrams when a knife is needed.
Have both Wyoming Saw and folding Gerber. Used both on multiple elk to open rib cage and skull cap. Wyoming Saw is the answer, I've been using the same one for over 25 years.
