Berger VLD bullets, is a special die needed to seat VLD's.

try it, no marks, good to go. marks? machine stem to match ogive

Some of them will leave a mark it wI'll not hurt the bullet performance, just has the ring, or redding makes a micro seating die just for berger. This is what redding tech guy told me.

Well you call redding and tell them that, and WHY IS IT I HAVE 50 with marks on them ??

Yes, but they do not tell you that in either dues or bullet until you call. Redding said no need . It marks some of them , and some it did not. I have the stem now so I shall find out if this was the prob. Almost loOKs like die has a bur in it.

I dont have a problem with the mark its the inconsistent seating depth.

I've just use regular competition dies in the past and I've had no problems

talked to RCBS the other day and if you send them 4 bullets and 18.00 they will make you a seater for that bullet
